We feature artwork of Bees as we believe they are of utmost importance to our survival and to that of many plants, trees and food crops. Australia is the last honey producing country on the planet that is free of the Varroa mite and our apiarists currently export queen bees to the US and other countries to re-populate bee colonies overseas. With bees pollinating about two thirds of our food crops, the arrival of this pest will be devastating to say the least!

more than four years to live. No more bees, no more pollination … no more men!”
By choosing chemical free alternatives to garden with, planting bee attracting flora and providing environments that our little friends can be safe to thrive in, we can ensure their survival and the pollination of our food and gorgeous flowers. We will add tips that you can use to help our bee population in upcoming blogs and then we can all be busy bees!!!
